At the moment i'm really into creating very detailed pieces using fine liners.
They take ages but most of the time the outcome is really effective and the hard work is definitely worth it.

I can just put some music on and escape the world for a good couple of hours
As well as creating some really good art i find the process very therapeutic.

I hope i can continue to create these detailed pieces and i don't get to tired of producing them!

Hey, my name is Sam, i'm a graphic design student, I love drawing and creating really detailed pieces, i can spend hours experimenting on different pieces and playing around with different techniques. I am influenced by different artists all of the time, i tend to go through phases of creating pieces inspired by a certain artist and then when i find a new inspiration i move on. I hope you enjoy my work, all comments are welcome, good or bad! :D

Yea art and graphic design, i'm off to cheltenham uni in september going to do a BA honours degree in Graphic Design. I was going to study art but i thought i would have more options doing graphics, it's more luck than your qualifications if you want a career as an artist!
Cool, are you still in the army now?
You could still go to college? Part-time?
With art like that you'd pass no problem mate :D I found it really good for inspirations more than anything, tutors telling you about different artists, looking at other peoples art etc. really helped me decide what i wanted to do and develop my art!

nice work sam! really like your work you've got a good eye. Why not try rotring technical pens you get a really nice crisp line which would really suit your style. They're a bit expensive but well worth it. Thanks for the favourite glad you like the eye design. Did you check the others out? take it easy

I only use rotring technical pens (rapidograph) or sometimes a sepia felt tip pen, but ultimately the rotring's are the best. Will check out Si Scott now. Take it easy.
